Write for us
Vibrant Knowledge welcomes considered pitches about seasonal patterns and the countryside around us. Send proposals through the Contact page, with a clear subject and a note about what readers will understand by the end.
What we welcome
We are interested in original, evergreen pieces on plant growth, weather patterns, rural landscapes, seasonal work, and ways of observing the year. A strong proposal has one central question, a clear scope, and examples that help a general reader see the subject more clearly.
A useful pitch
Include a working title, a short outline, the main point, and why the subject suits this almanac. Tell us what sources or observations would support the piece, and flag any uncertainty or regional variation. We do not need a full draft with an initial proposal.
Original and careful work
Submissions should be original, accurately represented, and written in plain English. Avoid unsupported claims, promotional copy, instructions that depend on local rules, and advice that requires a professional assessment. Proposals are sent through the Contact page; sending one does not guarantee publication.
The year leaves clues in plain sight
A change in leaf, light, or fieldwork can tell a small part of the season's story. We look closely, explain carefully, and leave room for local variation.
